Hotel Costa Verde, a luxury 4-star hotel with 380 rooms, multiple restaurants, bars, and conference facilities, faced high energy costs from its existing electric and gas hot water systems. The hotel needed a sustainable solution to reduce energy bills and environmental impact.
Solution:
Solahart’s Italian distributor, Accomandita Tecnologie Speciali Energia Spa, designed and installed a solar pre-heating system using Solahart’s proven technology.
System Details:
- Hot Water Requirement: 65,000 litres/day at 60°C
- Solar Collectors: 77 systems (40 x Solahart 302KF, 37 x Solahart 303KF)
- Collector Area: 382 m²
- Storage: 77 x 300L tanks (23,100 litres total)
- Boosting: Integrated with the existing water heating plant
